IN LOVING MEMORY OF CARLIS RAYMOND GOOCH, 39

With heavy hearts, we remember the life of 39-year-old Carlis Raymond Gooch, whose passing has brought sadness to his family, friends, and all those who knew him. His death was discovered Thursday afternoon in Ripley County, Missouri, leaving loved ones facing the difficult reality of an unexpected loss.

According to the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, two hunters were setting up deer blinds in the Briar Creek area at approximately 1:42 p.m. Thursday when they noticed a red vehicle and what appeared to be a body on the driver’s side. Authorities were immediately contacted, and responding officials discovered a male subject deceased inside the vehicle.

The deceased was later identified as Carlis Raymond Gooch, 39.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop G Division of Drug and Crime Control was contacted, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is underway. Sheriff Rad Talburt stated that, at this time, no foul play is suspected.

While authorities continue their investigation, a family is left grieving the loss of someone whose life held meaning beyond what can be captured in a news report. Behind every name is a personal story, cherished memories, meaningful relationships, and people whose lives have been touched by that individual’s presence.

During this difficult time, our thoughts are with Carlis Raymond Gooch’s family, friends, and loved ones. May they find strength, comfort, and support as they navigate the pain of this loss. We also ask that the family’s privacy be respected as they mourn and remember him.

Rest in peace, Carlis Raymond Gooch. May you be remembered with love, and may those who mourn your passing find comfort in the memories you leave behind.
