In Loving Memory of Seth Dragos: Pittston Community Mourns 19-Year-Old Lost in Tragic Duryea Crash
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, family members, friends, and the Pittston, Pennsylvania, community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Seth Dragos, whose life was tragically cut short in a devastating single-vehicle crash on Saturday night in Duryea. At just 19 years old, Seth’s untimely passing has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
According to authorities, emergency crews were dispatched to the area of Falling Springs in the Narrows section of Coxton Road after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a heavily damaged vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway. Callers told dispatchers that an unresponsive man was trapped inside the vehicle.
Despite the efforts of first responders, Seth was pronounced deceased at the scene at approximately 10:30 p.m., according to Luzerne County Coroner Dion Fernandes.
Preliminary findings indicate that Seth was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. Officials also stated that speed and weather conditions were contributing factors in the fatal collision. The incident remains under investigation by the Duryea Police Department and the Luzerne County Coroner’s Office as authorities work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
