In Loving Memory of Chad Veazey: McCrory Community Mourns Life Lost in Tragic White County Rollover Crash
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, family members, friends, and the McCrory, Arkansas, community are mourning the tragic loss of Chad Veazey, whose life was cut short in a devastating rollover crash on July 4 in White County.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 3:47 p.m. on Fox Meadow Road. Investigators reported that a 2013 GMC Sierra was traveling northbound when it left the right side of the roadway. As the driver attempted to regain control, the truck reportedly overcorrected multiple times before rolling over several times and ultimately coming to rest in a ditch.
Chad Veazey, a passenger in the pickup truck and a resident of McCrory, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased as a result of the crash.
Three other occupants of the vehicle — Richard Pace of Bald Knob, Addyson Jordan of Bradford, and an unidentified minor — were injured in the accident and transported to Unity Health for medical treatment.
Authorities noted that it was raining at the time of the crash and that the roadway was wet. The Arkansas State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
