Family, friends, and colleagues are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Lindsay Rowell Ng, a respected lawyer, devoted mother, loving wife, and cherished friend whose kindness and quiet strength touched countless lives.

Lindsay was the beloved wife of Matt Ng and a deeply devoted mother to Nora and Archer, who were the center of her world. She embraced motherhood with endless love, patience, and joy, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. Her family was always her greatest source of pride and purpose.

She was the cherished daughter of Catherine Grace Kernaghan and the late Norman Scott Rowell, whose guidance and love helped shape the thoughtful, compassionate, and accomplished woman she became. Lindsay was also a loving sister to Megan Rowell (Tom Roy) and Kelly Rowell (Greg Sharun), and a proud aunt to Elias, Arel, Evan, and Cole, all of whom brought immense happiness to her life.

Lindsay will also be deeply missed by her parents-in-law, Tim and Carol Ng, as well as her brother-in-law Mike Ng (Esther Yu) and their daughter Rosie.

In her professional life, Lindsay built an outstanding career as a partner at Blakes, Cassels & Graydon LLP, where she practiced corporate disputes law. She earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike for her intelligence, integrity, and dedication to her work. Beyond her legal accomplishments, Lindsay was known for generously mentoring younger lawyers and supporting those around her with genuine care and encouragement.

Those who knew Lindsay will remember her as someone who made people feel seen, valued, and supported. Her compassion, grace, and thoughtful nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life for Lindsay Rowell Ng will be held at Hillhurst United Church, 1227 Kensington Close NW, Calgary, on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched and the love she gave so freely to family, friends, and colleagues.
