In Loving Memory of Devante Griffin
Our family is heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of Devante Griffin on April 30, 2026. His departure has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and the pain of this loss is felt deeply across family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Devante was known for his warm spirit, his kindness, and his infectious sense of humor. He had a way of lighting up any room he walked into—bringing laughter, easing tension, and reminding people not to take life too seriously. To many, he wasn’t just a loved one, but a source of joy, comfort, and genuine connection. His presence made ordinary moments memorable, and his absence now makes even the simplest days feel heavier.
In this time of profound grief, we also remember that Devante entered Heaven’s gates alongside the love of his life, Klariza Tarango. Together, their journey continues in a place beyond pain and sorrow. While our hearts ache here on earth, we find comfort in the belief that they are reunited in eternal peace.
Devante leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Kaycee and Karenza, who will forever carry his love, his spirit, and his memory. His role as a father was one of his greatest joys, and his love for his children will continue to live on through them.
To support the family during this difficult time, a fund has been established in Devante’s honor to assist with funeral and immediate expenses. Any contributions, prayers, and acts of kindness are deeply appreciated as the family navigates this heartbreaking loss.
We are especially comforted by the words of John 14:1–4 (TPT):
“Don’t worry or surrender to your fear… My Father’s house has many dwelling places… I go to prepare a place for you…”
These words remind us that death is not the end, but a passage into a promise already prepared—a place of peace, love, and eternal rest.
Devante Griffin will be remembered for his laughter, his love, and the light he brought into this world. Though his time here was far too short, his impact will never fade.
Rest in peace, Devante. You are deeply loved, always missed, and forever remembered.
