In Loving Memory of Deputy Patrick Morgan: Husband, Father, Veteran, and Hero Remembered
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we honor and remember the life of Deputy Patrick Morgan, a man whose legacy of service, courage, and love will never be forgotten.
Patrick was many things to many people — a husband, father, veteran, friend, deputy, and leader. But above all, he was a man of strength, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those he loved and the community he served.
After a nearly two-year battle with stage IV colon cancer, Patrick passed away on Tuesday night surrounded by the people who loved him most. He was only 32 years old.
His passing leaves behind an immeasurable void in the hearts of his family, friends, fellow deputies, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Throughout his battle, Patrick showed extraordinary courage. Even while enduring treatments and facing the harsh realities of his illness, he continued showing up — continuing to work whenever he could, not because he had to, but because of his deep commitment to his team and the people he served.
His kindness, positivity, and determination became a source of inspiration to everyone around him.
Patrick was a proud member of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, joining in 2023 after serving with the Ridgefield Police Department, the Clark County Jail, and the United States Army.
His life was built on service — serving his country, his community, and his family.
But beyond the badge, Patrick’s greatest role was at home.
He was a devoted husband to Lauren and a loving father to their two young sons. His family was his heart, his purpose, and his greatest source of pride. Everything he did was rooted in his love for them.
For Patrick, being a protector wasn’t just a job — it was who he was.
His journey over the past two years touched countless lives, and so many stood beside him and his family, offering prayers, love, and support as he fought with everything he had.
Though cancer may have taken his life, it never took his spirit.
Patrick’s story is one of resilience, selflessness, and love — a reminder of what true courage looks like.
