William Adkins II Somerset, KY Death, Obituary: In Loving Memory of William “WeeWee” Adkins II: Gone Too Soon, Forever Remembered

William Adkins II, lovingly known to family and friends as “WeeWee,” passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2026, at the age of 32. Born on March 12, 1994, in Somerset, William lived a life defined by love, loyalty, laughter, and devotion to those closest to him. His passing leaves behind a grieving family, countless friends, and a community forever changed by his absence.

William was a devoted husband to Rebecca Adkins and a proud father to Brooklynn Adkins, Kaiden Crabtree, Landon Crabtree, and William Adkins III. His children were the center of his world, and he dedicated his life to loving, protecting, and supporting them. Fatherhood was not simply a role to him — it was his greatest purpose and deepest source of pride.

Known for his infectious energy and generous spirit, WeeWee had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome. Whether offering support during difficult times or bringing laughter to everyday moments, he touched lives through his authenticity and compassion. He never hesitated to help others and was the kind of person people could always depend on.

William had a deep love for the outdoors and embraced life with adventure and enthusiasm. Hunting, riding four-wheelers, and preparing for derbies were among the passions that brought him joy. More than anything, however, he cherished time spent with family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Adkins; his aunt, Brenda Sammons; and his grandmothers, Evelyn Schaade and Janice Trimble. He is survived by many loving family members and lifelong friends who will continue to honor his memory.

Funeral services will be held at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, followed by burial at Southern Oaks Cemetery.
