In Loving Memory of Scott Ralston
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we remember and honor the life of Scott Ralston — a devoted leader, loyal friend, passionate snowmobiler, and cherished member of the community whose passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Scott was far more than a member of the snowmobiling community. He was a driving force behind it — someone whose dedication, leadership, and love for the sport helped shape countless memories, friendships, and accomplishments over the years. His contributions extended far beyond titles and responsibilities; they reflected a genuine passion for people, community, and the trails he loved so deeply.
Throughout his years of service, Scott held numerous important roles, including Treasurer and President of his local club, as well as Zone 4 Director, Treasurer, and President of The Snowmobile Federation. In every position he held, Scott brought commitment, integrity, and unwavering enthusiasm. He dedicated countless hours to strengthening the organization, supporting fellow riders, and helping ensure the continued growth and success of the snowmobiling community.
Those who worked alongside Scott knew they could always count on him. He was a leader who led not for recognition, but because he truly cared. His dedication played a major role in numerous projects, improvements, and purchases that helped benefit both the club and the broader snowmobiling community for years to come. His legacy is forever etched into the trails, the friendships, and the organization he worked so hard to support.
But beyond the meetings, responsibilities, and leadership roles, Scott was simply “Scotty” to so many — a friend whose love for sledding was impossible to miss. He had a passion for exploring the beauty of the province from behind the handlebars of his sled, embracing every snowy mile with excitement and appreciation. The trails were more than just routes through the wilderness; they were places where Scott felt alive, connected, and truly at peace.
He understood the unique bond shared by those who love the outdoors, adventure, and the freedom of the ride. Through snowmobiling, Scott built friendships that became family, and his warmth, humor, and generosity made every ride and every gathering more memorable.
The news of his passing has deeply affected the community because Scott was someone who genuinely mattered. He brought people together. He inspired others through his dedication and spirit. He reminded everyone around him what it meant to give back, to volunteer, and to share a passion wholeheartedly.
As friends and fellow riders reflect on the memories shared with Scott, they remember not only his leadership but also his laughter, his stories, his kindness, and the unmistakable joy he found on the snow-covered trails. Those moments now become treasured memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
The loss of someone like Scott leaves silence where there was once energy and friendship. Yet even in grief, there is gratitude — gratitude for his years of service, for his friendship, and for the countless ways he made the community stronger.
Though Scott Ralston may no longer ride beside his fellow snowmobilers, his spirit will forever remain part of the trails he loved. His legacy lives on through every rider he inspired, every project he helped complete, and every friendship he built along the way.
And so, as the community says goodbye, they do so with both tears and appreciation for a life lived with passion, loyalty, and purpose.
Scott, may the trail of white gold you ride now be forever smooth, the skies forever clear, and your fuel and oil tank forever bottomless.
Rest easy, Scotty.
You will always be remembered, deeply missed, and forever part of the trail ahead.
