It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Billy Fransway, a beloved resident of the Chippewa Falls and Cadott, Wisconsin communities. Billy’s loss is deeply felt by his family, friends, coworkers, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

From unforgettable road trips to Milwaukee Brewers games, where he somehow knew people both in the parking lot and in the stands, to everyday conversations that turned strangers into friends—Billy had a way of bringing people together. For those who knew him longest, Billy was more than a friend—he was family. From childhood memories starting as early as second grade to years spent as coworkers, roommates, and best friends, he was a constant presence. Loyal, dependable, and always there when it mattered most, Billy was the definition of a “ride or die” brother. He answered the phone, listened without judgment, and gave advice with sincerity and care.
