Dean was the subject of a SAFE Alert after he disappeared from the area of 59th Avenue and Indian School Road on Thursday, July 9. According to Phoenix police, staff members at the group home where he resided reported that he had left the facility approximately 20 minutes before authorities were notified of his disappearance.
The search for Dean sparked concern among loved ones and the community, with many hoping he would be found safe and reunited with those who cared about him. Tragically, those hopes were shattered when Phoenix police later confirmed that Dean had been found deceased in west Phoenix, leading to the cancellation of the SAFE Alert.
