With profound sadness and broken hearts, family members, friends, and the Pontiac community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of a young family whose lives were tragically cut short in a devastating crash on Interstate 75 in Holly.
The victims have been identified as Tieree Powell, 24, Zakiera Powell, 24, and their two beloved children, Malani Powell, 4, and Carter Powell, 2.
What should have been an ordinary night turned into unimaginable tragedy when the family’s vehicle became disabled on the side of the freeway and was struck by another driver. The violent crash claimed all four of their lives at the scene.
The sudden loss of an entire young family has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.
Tieree and Zakiera were two young parents with their whole lives ahead of them, building a future and raising their precious children. Their love, dedication, and dreams for their family were cut short in the most heartbreaking way.
