Preliminary investigations revealed that Allyn was driving a 1998 Mazda pickup truck northbound when the vehicle crossed left of center at an excessive speed and collided head-on with another pickup truck.

Despite the quick response of first responders, Allyn was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle and a passenger sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

Authorities have stated that alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, with toxicology results still pending as the investigation continues.

The sudden loss of Allyn has left family, friends, and the entire community grieving a life gone too soon. No matter the circumstances, the pain of losing a loved one so unexpectedly is immeasurable.
