With profound sadness and heavy hearts, family members, friends, and the communities of Binghamton, New York, and Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, are mourning the tragic and heartbreaking loss of Frank Talarico Jr., 29, Kevin Igo, 38, and Phillip Johnson, 53, whose lives were taken in a devastating shooting on Monday evening.<\/p>\n
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, officers responded at approximately 6:00 p.m. to a residence on Baptist Hill Road in Great Bend Township following reports of a shooting. When authorities arrived, they discovered all three men deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n
The victims were later identified as Frank Talarico Jr. of Binghamton, formerly of Florida, Kevin Igo of Susquehanna, and Phillip Johnson of Hallstead.<\/p>\n
Following the incident, authorities located and arrested 29-year-old Garrett Austin Johnson of Hallstead a short distance from the residence. He has been charged with three counts of criminal homicide, along with simple assault, resisting arrest, and recklessly endangering another person. He was arraigned and remanded to the Lackawanna County Prison without bail as the investigation continues.<\/p>\n
