Stanton Community Mourning After Tragic Head-On Crash Claims Three Lives, Including Two Teen Girls<\/p>\n
The Stanton community is mourning after a devastating head-on crash in Martin County claimed the lives of three local women Wednesday evening, including two teenage girls.<\/p>\n
Authorities say the fatal collision happened along IH-20 North Service Road near mile marker 153 and has left family members, friends, and the entire community heartbroken as they try to process the sudden and tragic loss.<\/p>\n
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Debra Ramirez, 42, was driving westbound when another vehicle, operated by Justin Milulka, 56, allegedly failed to yield the right of way and struck her vehicle head-on as she attempted to merge onto the IH-20 on-ramp.<\/p>\n
The violent impact killed Ramirez and one of the passengers at the scene. A second rear passenger, one of the teenage girls, was rushed to Martin County Hospital but sadly succumbed to her injuries.<\/p>\n
The victims included Debra Ramirez and two female minors, ages 16 and 14, whose young lives were tragically cut short.<\/p>\n
The heartbreaking loss has sent shockwaves through Stanton, where many are grieving not only the loss of a woman believed to be a mother and loved one, but also two young girls whose futures were filled with endless possibilities.<\/p>\n
Friends, loved ones, and community members are now left carrying the pain of a tragedy that has changed multiple families forever.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Milulka was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, along with passenger Michelle Sanders, 29. Another passenger in his vehicle suffered minor injuries.<\/p>\n
Authorities say the crash remains under investigation as they work to determine all the factors that led to the deadly collision.<\/p>\n
