Search efforts involving the U.S. Coast Guard and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources led to the heartbreaking recovery of Chris, found adrift in the water. The discovery marked a devastating end to a search that had begun with hope and urgency.
While the circumstances of that day are tragic, they do not define the life Chris lived.
