Dear Staff, Students, and Families of the North Sanpete School District,

We are sharing this message with care and sincerity following recent concern and confusion regarding Dixon (DJ) Farley. We want to clarify that earlier information shared was incorrect. DJ is currently receiving ongoing medical care, and updates will be provided by the family as they are made available.

At this time, the focus remains on supporting DJ, his loved ones, and the entire school community as they navigate this deeply emotional period. The uncertainty surrounding his condition has been difficult for many, and we encourage everyone to extend compassion, patience, and understanding.

To help students and staff process and cope, a crisis response team will be present at the high school on Monday morning. These professionals will be available to offer support, guidance, and a safe space for anyone who needs to talk or simply be heard.

In a unified show of love and encouragement, the community is invited to honor DJ by wearing blue clothing along with mismatched socks. This gesture symbolizes solidarity, hope, and strength as we stand together for him and his family.

Additionally, a special tribute event has been planned. The School of Rock will host a free Beatles concert this Friday dedicated to DJ. The performance will include participation from his cousin, John Oldroyd, making the event a meaningful expression of support, music, and community connection.
